What got you
started singing and playing guitar?
Wow, I can’t remember ever
not singing, really. My parents always sang in church, and I wanted to
be just like Dad so I started singing at a very young age. Anytime I
could I was singing: Choir, ensembles, quartets, solos, you name it I
was doing it. Guitar…the coolest guys I knew at college my
Freshman year were awesome acoustic players so I went home over summer
and picked one up.
How’d
you get involved with SalemsVoice?
Justin and Lance are involved with our church’s worship leading,
and they told me they had a band and needed a singer. They
wouldn’t let me do it at first ‘cause they said I sounded
like a choir boy. But they needed help at a show covering a song and
sang it, came to the next practice with some lyrics for their songs,
and the rest is history.
Any great
memories from playing or performing?
It had to be Dave...Not me, but the man backstage. We'll just
leave it at that.

ever seen a single foot moving that fast…I don’t think so.
