What got you started drumming?
I was always drumming and pounding on everything, or so my mom says. She tells me that Christmas 1998 my dad wanted to buy me a guitar but she said “If you want to get him what really wants, you’ll get him drums.” And that coming Spring I started drumming for a band called Rownineleven.

How’d you get involved with SalemsVoice?
Some time after the break up of Warren47, band members Justin, Jake and I joined together with guitarist Matt Barnett and started jamming. Through many a band name and an addition of Dave, we became SalemsVoice.

Any great memories from playing or performing?
Band practice with Warren47 where everyone said I looked like a duck while I was doing a drum fill.

Describe each member of SalemsVoice in one sentence.
Matt – The skinniest fat man I’ve ever known…and a wicked awesome guitar player.
Jake – Dedicated, flexible, and always easy to get along with.
Justin – A great friend throughout the years, who I knew would always be a good bass player in my band..
Dave – A kid at heart.
